Conclusions

          The facts are always interesting of course, but what does are the implications?  What do these facts mean for us now?  There is of course no simple answer.  But it is relavent to study such a history to better understand why television is the way it is today.  By understanding the past, we can see how the shows we have today, That '70s Show for example, came to be and how the industry of television in general was established.  It also helps us to understand the progression between technology and how new technologies become an everyday aspect of life.
